IAA Foundation Scholarships
One hundred scholarships, ranging from $1,000 to $7,500 will be awarded to those pursuing a career in agriculture. Open to new and continuing college students.

BAGI Scholarships
There are four $500 scholarships offered by the Balloon Association of Greater Illinois. Open to any college student studying agriculture or an ag-related program.

Illinois Veterinary Education Training
Illinois Farm Bureau encourages veterinary students to pursue careers in caring for food animals. To help offset the high cost of education, iVET offers up to $40,000 in loans to as many as three second-year veterinary students. Recipients have up to five years to repay the loans, provided they are working in a food animal practice that services Illinois farmers.

Illinois Pork Producers Scholarship
Fourteen scholarships between $1,000 and $2,000 are awarded to new or returning undergraduates at any two-year or four-year college.

Freese Memorial Scholarship
Scholarships up to $1,000 are offered by Immanuel Lutheran Church in Flatville thanks to the foresight an generosity of Ed and Helen Freese. The scholarship is for the sons & daughters of farmers  in Vermilion, Champaign and Ford Counties, regardless of field of study.

Andrews-Brumett Memorial Scholarship
This $1,000 scholarship ($500 each for 2 years) is available to a 2024 high school graduate living in or going to high school in Vermilion County that will be attending Danville Area Community College

Freese Memorial Scholarship

Rural Illinois Medical Student Assistance Program
Illinois Farm Bureau offers two scholarship programs for doctors and nurse practitioners that will return to serve rural areas of Illinois.

Deadline for medical school applicants: November 1

Deadline for Rural Nurse Practitioners: May 1

College Scholarships Now Available


Vermilion County Farm Bureau is promoting four different scholarship programs to provide assistants to farm families or those seeking a career in agriculture.

Application forms for all these scholarships are available through the links below or at the Farm Bureau office.



 

Driving Agriculture Forward Scholarship Program
Funded by Illinois Farm Bureau through the IAA Foundation, this scholarship offsets the cost of required commercial truck driver training and ensures more well-trained, safe drivers are available to drive agriculture forward.

Five scholarships will be offered quarterly to students enrolling in driving training programs at an Illinois Community College.

Application windows will be March 1-31, June 1-30, September 1-30 & December 1-31
